Alberto Herrera is an associate in the Corporate and Business department focusng his practice on transactional work, real estate and banking.
Alberto is a native El Pasoan and has lived in both El Paso and Ciudad Juarez. During law school he was involved in Northwestern University's American Bar Association Negotiation Team, he was a co-founder of the school's Foreclosure advocacy program and he served as a Guardian ad Litem for unaccompanied immigrant youth.
Alberto's experience includes three and a half years in the legal, regulatory group for a Bank Holding Company whose holdings included retail and commercial banks, mortgage originator, servicer and correspondent lending.
In 2016 Alberto founded Project Combina, a non-profit organization dedicated to optimizing college candidacy and writing skills for area soccer players. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
