Areas of Practice

Drew Miller is a partner in the firm’s Austin office where he practices environmental, water and general regulatory law, and serves as Chairman of the firm's Environmental, Administrative and Public Law Department. He regularly represents industrial and commercial entities, political subdivision, and individuals in litigation, compliance, enforcement, permitting, and due diligence matters. He is particularly experienced in guiding clients through Texas' Brownfields redevelopment programs and in lawsuits involving contaminated property. He also specializes in groundwater management, regulation and planning, and in litigation and administrative proceedings involving those subjects.

Professional and Civic Involvement

Mr. Miller currently serves as co-chair of the Energy, Environment & Natural Resources Group (EENRG) of the State Law Resources, Inc. (State Law Resources is a national network of independent law firms – one from each state and the District of Columbia – selected for their experience in administrative, regulatory and government relations at the state and federal level.) He also serves as a member of the Groundwater Issues Committee of the Texas Water Conservation Association.

Mr. Miller also serves on the board of directors of the Sustainable Food Center and as co-chair of the Advisory Board of the University of Texas Law School’s Environmental Law Clinic. He is a graduate of Leadership Austin (class of 2005-06).
