Amanda J. Ellis is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and is located in the firm’s Austin office. She specializes in Health Care Law, Administrative Law, Funeral Services Law and General Litigation. Ms. Ellis represents and defends licensed health care professionals and entities before licensing and regulatory agencies and advises licensed providers in administrative and transactional matters related to their practices. Ms. Ellis also represents licensed funeral directors and embalmers and the owners of licensed funeral establishments, crematories, and cemeteries before the Texas Funeral Service Commission and the State Office of Administrative Hearings. In addition, Ms. Ellis has represented various entities and individuals before the State Office of Administrative Hearings, the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, the Texas Medical Board, the Texas Board of Nursing, and the Texas Funeral Service Commission.
Ms. Ellis is the 2011-2012 Chair of the Administrative Law section of the Austin Bar Association, and has served on the board of that section since 2008.
