Emily J. Davenport is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and is located in the Austin office. She specializes in Medical Malpractice Defense, Employment Defense, and General Litigation. Ms. Davenport’s clients consist mainly of health care providers, including nursing homes, hospitals, hospice and home health care providers, nurses, and physicians. In addition to defending her clients in litigation, Ms. Davenport counsels health care institutions and their employees concerning risk management issues.
Ms. Davenport was named a “Texas Rising Star” in Personal Injury Defense: Medical Malpractice Law by publisher Thomson Reuters in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010.
