Ken Slavin is a partner in the firm's Litigation Department and is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico. He is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Slavin's practice areas include civil appellate law, contract and fiduciary litigation, bank litigation, insurance litigation, commercial litigation and construction litigation. In addition to his trial work, Mr. Slavin has handled over 120 civil appellate matters including appeals before the Texas Supreme Court, various Texas courts of appeals, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, the New Mexico Supreme Court and the New Mexico Court of Appeals.
Ken has been consistently recognized as a Texas "Super Lawyer" by publisher Thomas Reuters in the area of Civil Appellate Law since 2005, and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America in Appellate Law.
Mr. Slavin is a member and former President of the Rotary Club of West El Paso. Mr. Slavin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation.
