Shelly W. Rivas is a partner in the firm's Litigation Department, and her practice focuses on commercial litigation. While in law school, Ms. Rivas participated in the Baylor International Law Program in Guadalajara, Mexico. Ms. Rivas was named a "Texas Rising Star" by publishers Thomson Reuters in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Leadership El Paso Class XXX

Ms. Rivas has been a director of the El Paso Bar Association and currently serves on the District 17 Grievance Committee of the State Bar. Ms. Rivas is a frequent lecturer to local professional and business groups on ethics, government contracting, construction law business litigation and landlord/tenant relationships. She is a member of the Construction Law Section of the State Bar.
