A native El Pasoan, Alberto received his B.B.A. from Rice University, M.Sc. from London School of Economics and Political Science and is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law.
During law school he was involved in Northwestern University's American Bar Association Negotiation Team, he was a co-founder of the school's Foreclosure advocacy program and he served as a Guardian ad Litem for unaccompanied immigrant youth. In 2016 Alberto founded Project Combina, a non-profit organization dedicated to optimizing college candidacy and writing skills for area soccer players and is a member of Progress 321.
