Scott Kendall is an associate in the firm’s labor and employment department. He has represented employers in litigated employment matters in state and federal courts on a wide variety of issues, including claims concerning compensation, hiring, termination, discrimination, harassment and retaliation; wage and hour disputes and collective actions; and breach of contract cases.
Scott advises employers regarding all aspects of the employment relationship, including: hiring, discipline, termination, employment policies, requests for leave under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination statutes, wage payment statutes and various other laws, enforceability of restrictive covenant agreements, and drafting and revising restrictive covenant agreements, employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
Scott was selected for inclusion in 2018 "Texas Rising Stars" by the publisher Thomson Reuters.
