Kemp Smith is pleased to announce Mario Yague has joined the firm as an associate in the Trial department with a focus on commercial litigation and insurance-related matters.
Mario received his B.A. in Philosophy from Texas Tech University magna cum laude followed by his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law where he graduated in the top 6% of his class and obtained the Dean’s Award.
During his law school career, Mario served the St. Mary’s Law Journal Vol. 52 as an Associate Editor. He served as a research assistant to two professors and ultimately contributed to three law review article publications. Mario was also the champion of the American Bar Association National Arbitration Competition in 2019 as a member of the National Mock Trial Team.
