Kemp Smith LLP is pleased to announce R. Matthew (”Matt”) Garner has joined the firm as Of Counsel and is a member of the Business Department in Austin, Texas. Mr. Garner is an experienced business and corporate attorney, with a depth of experience in the oil and gas industry, as well as the renewable energy industry.

In addition to representing clients in complex acquisitions and divestitures, Matt frequently assists clients with the negotiation and preparation of oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, joint operating agreements, contracts for drilling services, joint operating agreements and crude oil and natural gas marketing contracts.

Mr. Garner received his BA in Political Science from Abilene Christian University and is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law.
