Connar Allen

Connar Allen is an associate in the firm's Labor and Employment Department. He represents employers in labor and employment disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. His practice includes defending discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination claims, responding to agency charges, handling all stages of discovery, preparing and defending witnesses for deposition, and drafting dispositive motions. He works closely with employers and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy and navigate complex workplace disputes.

Before joining the firm's labor and employment practice, Connar spent three years practicing insurance defense, representing corporations and trucking companies in high-exposure litigation. That experience provided a strong foundation in motion practice, case management, witness preparation, and trial preparation, skills he now applies to employment litigation matters.

Connar earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Barristers and received the William R. Moss Trial Advocacy Award. While in law school, he was a semifinalist in the Appellate Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition and won the school's 1L Moot Court Competition.

He received his B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he interned with the Nueces County District Attorney's Office.
