Connar Allen is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment Department. Before joining the firm, he spent three years practicing insurance defense, representing large corporations and trucking companies in high-exposure personal injury and premises liability cases. He has drafted, argued, and obtained summary judgment on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including wrongful death, negligence, and premises liability matters. His experience includes managing cases from initial investigation through dispositive motions and trial preparation, giving him a practical understanding of litigation strategy and client advocacy.
Connar earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Barristers and received the William R. Moss Trial Advocacy Award. While in law school, he was an Appellate Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition semi-finalist and winner of the 1L Moot Court Competition.
He received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, where he also interned with the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office.
