David Mirazo is a partner in the firm's Trial Department with over 20 years of experience in complex commercial litigation across state and federal, trial, appellate, and bankruptcy courts, as well as domestic and international arbitration panels.

Mr. Mirazo is a seasoned first-chair trial lawyer. His track record includes representing Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized businesses, banks, government entities, and individuals in securing and defending multimillion-dollar claims.

His practice spans a broad spectrum of commercial litigation, including high-stakes breach of contract disputes, international and cross-border disputes, fraud and tortious interference disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, commercial construction and real estate disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and insurance disputes.

Mr. Mirazo has developed particular experience in U.S.-Mexico cross-border disputes, and other international disputes involving companies in Europe, Latin-America, and Asia. Mr. Mirazo also provides strategy and counseling to foreign companies on their transactions in and expansion to the United States.

He has consistently been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers as a top attorney in the state in the practice areas of consumer law, business litigation, and business and corporate law since 2013.

He is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in consumer and commercial law.

Mr. Mirazo played football at the University of Texas at El Paso. He then continued to play football for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while attending law school.

He has served as a board member of the El Paso Young Lawyers Association, the El Paso Bar Association, and the El Paso Bar Foundation.

He is most proud of the years he spent establishing, leading, and coaching a football league in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico with the goal of using football as a tool to teach young men life skills while providing a safe outlet through organized sports.
