Julie Bolaños is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Business department with a primary focus on guardianship, estate planning and probate matters. Her legal experience includes disability rights, guardianship matters, and healthcare law.
Julie brings a unique background in both law and social work. Prior to her legal career, Julie worked extensively in healthcare, nonprofit, and government settings as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Case Manager. Julie maintains her social work credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker allowing her to bring a comprehensive understanding of both legal and psychosocial aspects to her practice.
Julie earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law, where she was recognized as a Hispanic Law Alumni Association scholarship recipient and Summer Public Service Fellow. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both from The University of Texas at Austin and is a native El Pasoan.
