Kemp Smith is pleased to announce Daniela de Souza has joined the firm as an associate in the firm's Public and Environmental Law Department in Austin, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Southwestern University, cum laude, and is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law.
Daniela received an academic honor award for all eight semesters of her undergraduate studies. During her time at UT Law, Daniela was the president of the Human Rights Law Society, an Academic Research Assistant, and a participant of the Environmental Law Clinic. Daniela was also a community ambassador for Austin Water to assist drafting the City of Austin's Water Forward 2024 Equity and Affordability Plan. She is a member of the Administrative and Public Law, and the Environmental and Natural Resources sections of the Texas State Bar.
