Kemp Smith is pleased to announce Erin E. Fonken has joined the firm as a partner in the Public and Environmental Law Department in Austin, Texas. Erin specializes in air quality, water quality, endangered species, enforcement, permitting, administrative matters and litigation.
Prior to joining Kemp Smith, Erin worked at a global law firm, representing industrial, commercial, and energy clients on a wide variety of environmental issues, including air, water, waste, and endangered species. Erin then went on to practice environmental law for a D.C. based non-profit organization.
During law school at the University of Texas School of Law, she represented a local non-profit on endangered species issues with the Environmental Law Clinic and interned for Federal District Judge Sam Sparks of the Western District of Texas.
