Kemp Smith is pleased to announce Jared D. Ledesma has joined the firm as an associate in the Corporate and Business Department. His practice will focus on estate planning, corporate and business transactions, and tax matters, with an emphasis on S corporations, partnerships, closely held businesses, and cross-border transactions

Jared was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and earned his B.B.A. in Finance, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at El Paso, where he was also a member of the university’s NCAA Division I Track and Field program.
Jared earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a member of the Tax Law Society and the Order of the Barons Honor Society. He later earned an LL.M. in Taxation, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Tax Law Society.
