Kemp Smith is pleased to welcome Samantha Morales our El Paso Office.

Samantha Morales is an associate in the firm’s Trial Department. A native El Pasoan, she earned her B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Reasoning, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at El Paso and her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.

While at Texas Law, Samantha served as President of the Women’s Law Caucus. She competed in intramural and interscholastic mock trial competitions through the Board of Advocates. Samantha served as Financial Director and Staff Editor of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy. She was also an active member of the Yeakel Inn of Court for Intellectual Property. Samantha participated in Texas Law’s Employment Rights Clinic, where she worked on matters involving wage disputes, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace issues. She also worked on higher education and employment matters with the Office of General Counsel for The University of Texas System and provided pro bono advocacy through the Mithoff Pro Bono Program.

Before law school, Samantha interned with the Office of Congresswoman Veronica Escobar and Diocesan Migrant and Refugee Services. Samantha is active in the legal community through the El Paso Women’s Bar Association and Mentors in Law and Equity (MILE).
