Samantha joins us from The University of Texas School of Law. An El Paso native, Samantha has interests in employment law and insurance litigation. She is a UTEP and LSPI alumna. During her time in law school at the University of Texas, she participated in the Mithoff Pro Bono Program, assisting Spanish-speaking families with complex legal matters related to disability rights. Samantha was a finalist in the Foley Foundation's Mock Trial Tournament during her 1L year. Last summer, she clerked at the University of Texas System, where she worked on intellectual property, employment law, health policy, and litigation matters.
Today, she competes on the Interscholastic Mock Trial team and serves on the Board of Advocates. She serves on the editorial boards of the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy and the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Samantha is the President-Elect of the Women's Law Caucus. In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, playing chess, and caring for animals.
