Kemp Smith is pleased to announce Elianna Rios, Chase Grambling and Melanie Harper have joined the firm as Summer Law Clerks.
Melanie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics as an Early College Scholar. She is currently a rising 3L at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where she was selected to be an Austin Bar Association Diversity Fellow. Her primary interests lie in commercial litigation, and corporate and business law. Outside of school or work, she enjoys fitness related activities, trying new restaurants with friends, painting, and hanging with her standard poodle.
Chase graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is an incoming 2L at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Chase is interested primarily in personal injury and commercial litigation. Outside of school, he enjoys playing guitar, golfing, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.
Elianna received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University in Political Science cum laude, with honors from the Texas Tech Honors College. During her undergraduate she was a presidential scholar recipient and apart of both the Dean’s and President’s List. She is currently attending Texas Tech School of Law. While at Law School she has participated in the Board of Barristers 1L Negotiation Competition and is a part of the following school organizations: Organization of Women Law Students, Business Law Association and the Investment Finance Legal Association. She is also a 2023 Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar. Outside of school Elianna enjoys reading mystery novels, spending time with family and enjoys exploring the Sun City.
