Sergio Mendez is an associate in the firm's Trial department. Sergio received his B.A. in Criminal Justice cum laude from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
During law school, Sergio was a member of the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender and Society where he served as the Business Editor. As a member of the Mock Trial team, he also competed in the Texas Young Lawyers Association trial competition. He was an active member of the Latino Law Student Association and worked in the Wisconsin Innocence Project for two years where he received the Melvin J. Friedman award for his exemplary work with the clinic.
