Wyatt Z. Conoly is an associate in the firm's Public and Environmental Law Department, focusing on representing governmental entities and private clients in administrative matters and in trial and appellate proceedings before state and federal courts. Wyatt has extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings at all stages of litigation. He regularly advises clients on complex legal issues, collaborates with experts to build strong cases, and manages discovery and document review processes.
Before joining Kemp Smith, Wyatt handled complex construction cases and developed his expertise in client advocacy, complex litigation, and legal research. Wyatt has also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David Morales in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, and as a judicial extern for the Honorable Brantley Starr in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas.
A native Texan, Wyatt is committed to using the law to improve the lives of Texans. He holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he was Articles Editor for the SMU Law Review and a Phi Delta Phi Honor Society member. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law from the University of Arizona where he graduated with honors.

Professional & Civic Involvement
Wyatt is dedicated to serving his community through both professional and civic organizations. He served on the Docket Call Committee of the Austin Young Lawyers Association (AYLA), supporting networking and educational events for young legal professionals in Austin.
In addition to his professional contributions, Wyatt volunteers with Meals on Wheels, delivering meals to individuals who are homebound, and with Keep Austin Fed, where he assists in food rescue operations.
Wyatt is also a member of the Las Moras Springs Conservation Association, an organization committed to promoting responsible groundwater management in Kinney County. Through his involvement, Wyatt supports sustainable water practices that benefit the environment and local communities.
